Something Special - Space, Facilities & Food So what makes the Adriatic Queen so special? Cruise Itinerary Saturday SPLIT – HVAR We are departing from Split 13.00, unavoidable destination of every tourist chooser due to traffic connections and direct proximity of Dalmatian islands. After swim break and lunch in one beautiful and calm bay we are going toward our first destination, island and place Hvar. Crystal blue sea, marvelous bays and pebble beaches, mild climate, lush vegetation, vineyards, olive groves, endless fields of lavender, historical and cultural sights make the island of Hvar, undoubtedly, the most beautiful island. The island of Hvar was put among the ten most beautiful islands in 1997 by the Traveler Magazine. Sunday HVAR - KORČULA After the sunniest island on the Adriatic, the second day of the cruising we left for beautiful island Korčula, enjoying in culinary skills of our chef, swimming and tanning in hidden bay that waits on you. The historical and tourist center of the island of the same name in the south Dalmatian archipelago. Known as the birth place of Marko Polo, this town has been justly called „a little Dubrovnik“due to its picturesque squares and medieval atmosphere. While the works of skilful Korčula stone masons cause wonder by its perseverance, “Moreška” brings liveliness to the streets of Korčula, as one of the three chivalrous dances you can see only on this exceedingly beautiful island. Monday KORCULA - DUBROVNIK The following day of cruising continues toward the world known city at south point of Adriatic; the town with the past inwrought in the world history. The city of a unique political and cultural history, of world-famous cultural heritage and beauty (inscribed on the List of World Heritage Sites by UNESCO) - is one of the most attractive and famous cities of the Mediterranean. The sightseeing of Dubrovnik and its monuments requires several days. However, already a walk through Stradun, through narrow streets and small squares, monumental ramparts and fortresses, provides enough opportunities to experience the millennial beauty of its shell-shaped urban core, centuries of building, stone-cutting, carving and engraving, the history of the Duke's Palace, libraries, the oldest pharmacy in the south of Europe, etc. Tuesday DUBROVNIK - MLJET Because of a magnificent view on the mediaeval Dubrovnik we recommend a walk along the town ramparts and after it we are leaving toward "the lost island" in the open sea. In reality, it is an island that is really hard to reach. However, do not let the landscape, mentioned in the stories of Ulysses, St Paul, Benedictines and the Mediterranean she-bear, remain undiscovered. That area was declared a National Park on 11th of November 1960.The Park is characterized by two deep bays which are called lakes, The Great Lake and The Small Lake (10 000 years old) due to their very narrow passages to the open sea, and lush and diversified Mediterranean vegetation. Wednesday MLJET - VIS On the way to Vis, we will make a little rest by Biševo where will be organized tour to „Woad cave“. Do not forget your cameras to record attractiveness of this natural phenomenon. This island represents clear and beautiful sea, numerous bays, gravelly and sandy beaches and hidden bays hard to reach. As the farthest inhabited island, Vis offers a unique combination of natural, cultural and historical beauty which has remained almost pristine to the present day. It could be said of the island that it’s the cradle of life on the Adriatic islands, given that the first signs of urban life on Vis date back to the IVth century BC. Thursday VIS - BRAČ The following day of cruising you will enjoy the whole afternoon on the beach „Zlatni Rat“– natural world phenomenon. You will be breathless when you see surfers leaving traces on waves of limitless blueness. Bol is the oldest coastal settlement on Brač. It exists in the solitude of the southern landscape, at the foot of the Bol crown and Vidova Mountain – the highest island peak and at the same time the highest point of all Adriatic islands (778 m). Bol has many beautiful beaches. To the west from Bol lies the beach Zlatni rat (Golden Horn) one of the largest and most beautiful attractions of the Adriatic. Like a small tongue it extends nearly half a kilometer into the clear blue sea. Friday BRAC - SPLIT For end we have left Split, former metropolis of Emperor Diocletian. However, the last day of cruising you will have enough time to convince yourself in an old statement “Split, the most beautiful city on the world”. Without hiding their pride, the people of Split will tell you that their city is "the most beautiful one in the world and beyond". You would better not discuss this with them for well spirited Split will convince you in this as soon as you discover it! This for ever young city with the population of about 200,000 that give it its warm Mediterranean temper has lived its urban rhythm for as long as 1700 years, with its heart in the Diocletian’s Palace and its soul widespread to embrace you. Ever since the life of the city protected by the UNESCO and entered into the register of the World Cultural Heritage has been writing the history of this unique capital of Dalmatia. The scent of medicinal sage and rosemary under the sunny slopes of this region, and chirring of crickets is the deepest primeval music.
