Dear Sail Croatia,

We have just returned from our sail cCroatia holiday on the Split to Dubrovnik route on the 'Madona'.

We were not given forms to fill out on our experience but  know that several people wanted to express their happiness and satisfaction with the boat crew and the way we were treated. We have heard some bad stories from other boats and wanted to give credit and praise to Captain Ivan and his family and crew.
We felt that the meals were excellent and always presented with a smile and with plenty to eat. On two occasions we were given the option of having a  barbeque and spit roast on board for dinner and once again this was superb with everyone including the vegetarians on board well catered for.

Our Cabins were tidy and clean when we arrived and the downstairs occupants enjoyed the air-con available. The boat was cleaned daily by the crew and we were usually woken with clean and tidy decks ready for another day.

Duje, our waiter, guide and interpreter, communicated our route and plans very well. We were given options of what we wanted to do every day, whether it was spending the whole day at one particular bay or docking at port early to experience a town. He interacted personally with our whole group and always made himself available if we needed anything.

The whole family were equally as friendly and helpful whenever possible and we felt extremely privaliged to have been placed on their boat and experience Croatia with them as our hosts.
