Our trip to Croatia was spectacular.  Ten persons from Sweden were unable to make their arrival to Split due to their airline having regulatory problems.  Captain Tony + Sail Croatia decided to reverse the order of the trip.  I was extremely happy to see the flexibility in support of persons who no fault of their own were not able to make it to Split (Airline Problem).  We all got the same amount of biking just the order of sites was changed.  While I was unaware of the background negotiating it was nice to see that the company was flexible and the people arrived next day at Makarska.
Our biking guide Jurio (Phonetic) was exceptional.  He was knowledgeable, helpful and gave a great outline of the day journey.  He was aware of the skill level of each client.  He made our trip more exciting and involved the locals at each night and day docking.  He impressed me greatly.

The crew on our boat, Captain Tony, Alan, Vinko and Matt were really good and helpful.  The meals were exceptional, I am sorry I forgot the chef's name but he kept up the carbos for the mountain bike rides.  I really enjoyed the food after a day biking.

The bunks and bedroom as advertised were very small.  I was intimidated at first by the room size but eventually adjusted to my new sleeping quarters, showering and bathroom activities.  My friend and I got along well and developed a pattern of living quite quickly.  Sail Croatia did indicate that bunks were small but that is the only caveat I would say to anyone considering this venture if you have not camped or lived in small quarters this adventure many not be for you.  It was definitely fine for me and my friends.

I enjoyed the sailing and biking in the islands.  Jurio (We nicknamed him Fabio)at the very start said if you wanted flat land biking you should have landed in Holland or Denmark, look around you, we did and all we saw were mountains.  He was so right Croatia is a beautiful country.

We were a group of 66 year old males who were a bit concerned at first, as we did not want to delay the other 27 persons on the trip.  It turned out that not only did we survive; the group on our boat were wonderful.  We had fun, enjoyed the group and seemed to blend extremely well for the eight days. 

Sail Croatia and the biking program is a wonderful way to see, smell and hear the sounds of a country.  We met many of the people of the islands who made this experience exceptional.  The bikes were in excellent condition and worthy of the daily biking activities.

I personally would recommend this SAIL & BIKE trip to anyone especially if FABIO was their guide and the same chef was on board.  Thank you to Sail Croatia and Captain Tony and his staff.  I really enjoyed the experience.
